I would say this is just ok for the money.. I previously owned the ipod shuffle and thought this would be similar. I was wrong.. This is a totally different animal. You get what you pay for.. br /The on/off and volume controls are difficult to manipulate. The ear plugs do not stay in my ears. Stick with ipod....

I own several Sansa MP3 players. I've never experienced any problems with this model. I especially like the long battery life, and like the fact that it uses "AAA" batteries rather than internal rechargeables. I use it for long walks and hikes, and just carry an exra "AAA" cell with me. It's easy to load songs into. I've been using one for 3 years and am still happy with it.

This is the second MP3 player by Sansa I have purchased. It is affordable, reliable, easy-to-use. The other I purchased more than 4 years ago and it is still going strong. br / br /There are lots of features like voice recording, repeating, and even a radio tuner. br / br /Be aware that it does require 1 AAA battery. Luckily, the batteries last for over 19 hours.
