This CD player works very well...it doesn't skip and is a very simple CD player that serves my needs. However, it EATS up batteries...it seems to need new batteries every 4-5 hours, which is several hours less than I expected when I purchased it. The CD player does not come with a power cord, so using re-chargable batteries or purchasing a separate power cord are the only real options to satisfy its power requirements.

I'm not crazy about the color, but so far it seems to be working pretty well. There is still occasional skipping when I listen to audio books while I walk, but it's certainly a big improvement over my old CD players that didn't have this feature. Overall, it seems to be a good value for the money.
