Amazon.com Product Description Shouldn't your monitor be as sleek and stylish as your snazzy new G4 Macintosh box? This flat-screen LCD monitor combines brains and beauty, with USB peripheral connectivity, support for over 16 million saturated colors, and a 300:1 contrast ratio. Total depth is just 6.7 inches, and total weight just 11.5 pounds, so it's perfectly at home in ultra-minimalist offices or on tiny desktops. p The 15.1-inch viewable screen has an antiglare hard coat, keeping pictures clear in even the sunny corner offices. With wide-screen viewing angles, multiple viewers don't have to crowd too closely around the screen for a clear view, and at an optimum resolution of 1,024 x 768, it's ready and waiting for your most graphics-heavy applications. The manufacturer provides a standard one-year warranty for parts and service. p bWhat's in the Box/bbrMonitor, stand, power cord, monitor cable, instructions
Product Description Something unexpected happened during the desktop revolution. While you were busy accomplishing some amazing things, bulky monitors entered the picture and took away a good part of your desk. Now that the digital video revolution is underway, however, it's time to get some of that prime real estate back - as inexpensively as possible. Consider the affordable 15-inch flat-panel Apple Studio Display. The new Apple Studio Display combines a pure digital interface with the industry's best active-matrix LCD panel to deliver images with twice the brightness, twice the sharpness, and twice the contrast of other 15-inch flat-panel displays. What's more, the Apple Studio Display offers stellar image clarity and sharpness. Its all-digital interface supports 1024 by 768 pixels that are bright, sharp, and distortion-free. This display also provides the best viewing angles available for a flat-panel display its size - up to 120 degrees horizontally. The 15-inch flat-panel Apple Studio Display supports true 8-bit RGB color. As a result, it produces 16.7 million colors that are better saturated than those of other flat-panel displays.

Brilliant clarity and color May 5, 2002 Brian Preble (Danby, VT USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The image clarity and color definition on this monitor are simply fantastic, and the refresh rate is high enough to display fast action videogames with ease.pMy only regret is its low resolution (1024x768) which makes it difficult to work with modern OSX applications and pallette-hungry programs such as Adobe's Photoshop 7.
Beautiful, but power switch problems December 13, 2001 Apple's flat panels are truly works of art. The picture and contrast are excellent; however, when I use it in a 90 degree room (most of the summer), the power switch constantly activates itself. This used to put the computer to sleep while I was using it, but now I can disable the sleep feature in the Energy Saver control panel. Note: I bought this almost a year ago, so Apple may have corrected the problem.
Amazing display quality December 5, 2001 This moniter has almost the best quality that I have seen in the flat panel display category. You can look at it from a fairly steep angle and it doesn't smuge blur, or otherwise mess up the image of what's on the screen. Overall a great product
Superior Product September 11, 2001 Deborah A. Woehr (San Jose, CA USA) I purchased this monitor along with my new G4, and I have to say that I am pleased. If you can't afford the 17, the 15 works just as well. It's wider than I expected it to be. The picture is crisp and clear, without the jiggle I have seen with other brands. You can adjust the brightness by going into the Control Panel of your system software. I haven't tried it out with OS X, yet. But it works great with OS 9. Recommended.
