4 out of 5 stars great LCD monitor   October 3, 2006

I had this monitor for three weeks now and I can cheerfully write that this one fine piece of equipment. The colors are vivid and clear, text comes in sharp and playing games on it was easy and clear. The monitor appears to be well made, no pixals loss and it seem to have mininal moving parts. The screen got anti-glare which doesn't seem to interfere with the overall display and with or without lights, it seem to work fine. The difference between my old 19 inch CRT and this 19 inch LCD is almost like night and day. br / br /If there is a weakness in this monitor so far, it may have to do with the lack of ability to adjust the height of the screen. While you can tilt it, you can't adjust the height. for me that wasn't a problem but for some, it could be. br / br /Due to the dual input, you can easily upgrade to digital if and when the time to do so. The hook up was super easy and almost a no brainer. The term "plug and play" virually work in this case. Interestingly, this LCD monitor come with speakers that is embedded in the stand if you choose to used it. br / br /I brought this monitor at Costco and I thought it was worth the price I paid for. It does everything a LCD monitor should do and more. It could be that since I was moving up from a CRT to LCD, this review may be overstated but after several weeks of shopping around, this one definitely appears to be the winner.
