 Excellent display! June 29, 2008

This is an excellent display that I added as a display to my system. Now I am looking to purchase a 2nd one so I can replace my old, old, old, Sony 17" Trinitron display that I purchased back in 1995. It still works but when I move from the Hanns-G to the Sony the picture is no where near as clear as that on the Hanns-G.
Overall the Hanns-G gives a big bang for the buck.

Monitor was purchased from Amazon and initially performed excellent. Then an intermittent, vertical blue line appeared across the monitor. Item was returned for replacement however after 3 weeks Amazon still can't provide an expected shipment date.

After several months of studying the numerous monitors out there.
I decided on the Hanns. G, 22 inch LCD monitor.
The price was good, the quality exceeded the price, simple to install,
delivered in a timely fashoin, intact.
What more can be said, except...Thank you Amazon.

I have one month of using this monitor and the truth I am completely satisfied with the purchase, I didn't give five stars for small details: 1. The base of the monitor was not created the best way, that makes it a little unstable and 2. The video inputs are very close with the base, that a difficult one little to connect it. But people are not doubt that those details are not anything that you doesn't allow to take the desicion of acquiring this excellent Hanns-G, her color, clarity is spectacular, its option Plug n' Play when connecting different video types works well, lastly I can not stop to mention that the price is low in comparison with other monitors of great brands and that at the end they have a similar or smaller quality at this HW223D.

Yes, the picture quality is good. Yes, the price is reasonable. Assembly was easy and cables are included. However, the monitor feels a little flimsy (i.e. it wobbles on the stand when you move it). Also, the speakers are on the back of the unit, so the sound quality is poor unless you are behind the thing.
