Product Description Yepp plays MP3 digital audio music files downloaded from your computer. It has a high power output signal and a four-mode equalizer. Also, because Yepp has no moving parts, you won't have to listen to the bumps and jitters you would otherwise experience with a CD player. Yepp is one of smallest and lightest MP3 players on the market. You can connect it to your belt with its handy belt clip or you can carry it in your pocket and barely notice it's there. Yepp's LCD display lets you see the titles of the songs stored on your MP3 player.
Amazon.com Product Description Samsung's tiny, wearable Mini Yepp is the world's smallest full-featured digital player, weighing in at a mere 1.13 ounces without battery. It comes with 32 MB of built-in flash memory and features an LCD display that shows track data and current date and time.p The Mini Yepp has superb sound with a four-preset graphic equalizer and a powerful bass boost system that can enhance any musical style. The Mini Yepp also features an advanced USB port for high-speed transfer of your favorite music. USB connections are three to five times faster than those using the parallel port, and allow compatibility with both the Macintosh and PCs running Windows 98, 2000, or Me.p The popular Rio-Port digital music software is bundled with the Mini Yepp, offering a powerful yet easy-to-use system to organize your entire music collection and quickly transfer custom track combinations. The software is also CDDB-enabled, automatically retrieving artist and track information for millions of CDs (when connected to the Internet). p It comes bundled with full-length audio tracks from top recording artists, including Samantha Mumba, Monster Magnet, Blues Traveler, Queens of the Stone Age, and Black Eyed Peas. p The Samsung Mini Yepp runs on one AAA battery. It is backed by a one-year warranty.

w00t! December 24, 2003 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
dude, i got this as a gift, without the headphones though, and i found that the baby yepp program was sooo simple. sure, the 32MB space is a blow, but if you encode in mp3PRO using dBpowerAmp Music Converter ( http://www.dbpoweramp.com ), it makes this tiny thing an awesome mp3 player. you can get a 6MB file down to 2MB with OK quality, i mean, it aint perfect 192Kbps, but it sure sounds good for a 2MB file. trust me, this is a greatt buy!

This is a great product. DO NOT buy the Nike or Rio MP3 players. They are horrible. The comments about battery life are valid. Must sure you keep plenty of batteries in your gym bag. You'll need them.
Best for working out April 7, 2003 D. Kostal (Suffolk, UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is pretty awesome - I use it working out all the time, and the sound quality, particularly with some kickass headphones, is great. It even has some basic settings to mess with the sound type. The only difficult part is the large program - it also has the basic version of the interface program, which is much easier to use. Overall, though, this is some of the best money you can spend. I would recommend taking the battery out after every time you use it so you don't plow through AAAs -if you do that, you can get about 3 or 4 hours out of a battery.
Not for working out December 11, 2002 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
It is a nice product with no way of carrying except in you pocket. Not good for someone who wants to use it to run and work out with.
ok I guess but could be great December 4, 2002 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
First no off switch - that really bugs me. I know it turns off but never seems to.brSecond battery life -there is none. pain to open and replace a AAA batery every time I need to use it.Come on now 3 hours batery life? whats up with that?brUploading is not a simple drag and drop. This is a biggie. If I was to buy a mp3 player it must be drag and drop. who has time for another software product. It works, but I bought it to make my life easier but it hardly does that. But hey it was cheap for 64 megs.
