I bought this printer for SOHO use. The unit is well made and well designed. The output is very good, and the print speed is wicked fast, including the time to print the first page. The big seller for me was the built-in 100-base T ethernet port, which allows all network computers to share the device without needing a dedicated print server on the LAN. The setup is pretty easy, althought not exactly straighforward. To use as a network printer, first install the SyncThru software, which will install and configure the IP connectivity for the unit. Then install the print driver, and manually change the port from LPT1 (default) to the newly created Samsung network printer port created by SyncThru. That's it -- I was up and running within 15 minutes and never needed to look at the manual. Installing as a local printer will take half of that time. I would recommend setting a static IP address instead of DHCP, although this may not be necessary if your LANs IP allocation pool doesn't change often. Did I forget to mention it also handles duplex printing? br / br /I am very pleased with this unit and would reccomend it to anyone looking for a commercial-grade laser at a consumer-grade price.
