| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Panasonic has always been at the cutting edge of Blu-ray technology, but its latest range of players looks to push the boundaries even further. The DMP-BD60 is the entry-level player in the company's latest three-strong line-up - which also includes the step-up DMP-BD80 and the DMP-BD70V Blu-ray/VHS combi (no, really) - and the big breakthrough on these models is the inclusion of Viera Cast functionality, also found on the company's Z1, V10 and G15 NeoPDP TVs.

Best Blu-Ray DVD Player for the $$$$ November 7, 2009 Minh Truong Recieve the item on time. Item came Brand New. DVD player easy to use. Thanks guys !!
Good Blu Ray for the price November 7, 2009 Chris K. (Tucson, Az) Nice Blu Ray for the price. After reading some of the reviews I had gotten a little nervous about hearing that this model would freeze up. I have not had that problem but am still a little weiry. So far so good. Also a week after I had bought my Blu Ray at Amazon for $172 It went down in price almost $40 cheaper. Still a good price though. Other movies not in Blu Ray also look better with the upconversion.
Use Wireless Adapter...working great for me! November 5, 2009 Userva3 (Virginia) I've seen reviews complaining about the wireless connections. I contacted Panasonic direct to ask them if I could use the wireless adapter I have for my DTV receiver. They said yes and they were right. I unhooked my wireless adapter from my DTV receiver into this DVD player and have already downloaded the version of V I missed this week. Took no time to download and started playing instantly. I didn't need an SD card inserted like a couple of reviews said I would need. I think this is one feature of this player I'm greatly going to use. I don't particularly like DTVs video on Demand and if I have to I'll just keep switching this back forth until the price of purchasing another one of these adapters comes down. $80-$90 is still too high for me to spend on another one of these adapters. There may be other adapters you can connect more than 1 device but with the economy the way it is, I'm making do with what I have now. Can't believe I was able to get Blu-Ray but the price on this one was too good to pass up.

br /We did watch one Blu-ray DVD last night and it hung briefly one time. Not enough to mess up watching the show. I don't know if this will be the norm but for the price I paid $119 (with gift card I can't complain. This is definitely a good low-budget player.

br /This is definitely a good model for beginners (like me) as my husband had it hooked up in no time and I had it connected to the internet quickly too.
I'm happy with it.. November 2, 2009 Gregory G. Hecker (Colorado) After waiting to venture into the Blu Ray world, I'm very happy with the Panasonic DMP-BD60.
br /The picture is great, the audio is incredible (I had to turn down the bass on my high-end 7.1 system)!!
br /The player did get stuck twice on "Hello" after turning it on. That was kind of concerning with a new player. It wouldn't power down, so I had to unplug it. It came back just fine.
br /The price of this player was very reasonable.
Great BD Player November 2, 2009 Robert F. Schmidt (East Northport NY USA) I bought this player as my first blue ray based on many great reviews;not disapointed at all. It is very easy to set up right out of the box.The up scaling is better then exspected and bd discs also. The 24p works well as long as the tv accepts 24p.My first tv did not a 3 year old Sharp 37" , but just bought a Panasonic 50" V10 plasma that works well with the BD 60.Anyone should be happy with this player for quality price.
