Nice but not flawless October 25, 2008

I purchased this item not through Amazon because I needed it right away but not to take away anything from them. I love Amazon. I paid about $100 for it brand new in 07'. br / I will not make this long for as you are reading this, you're probably shopping for a printer and need a quick opinion. br / For the money this is a very good printer/copier/photo printer/scanner. Scans/prints/copies documents and photos well, no problem there. My only complaint is the paper feeder and color ink life. Color ink does not seem to last long ( that is if you're going to be doing lots of photo printing ) and the paper feeder is a pain in the you-know-what. It does not seem to feed itself well therefore I find myself manually feeding it whenever it runs out, once it has started feeding it will keep doing so until empty and then is back to the manual feeding. Additionally I should point out it is a wireless printer. HOWEVER.... in order to download the software in the disk, you have to link it directly to your pc via the USB which defeats the wireless feature as far Im concerned. br / Overall not a bad printer with nice features that will not break the bank.

For an in-home printer, I am happy with this item. It is a little bulky, but it works great. For the price, it's a bargain. Ink can be a little pricy and go quickly, but it's a good, solid printer. The scanner works good and the copy attribute is great. It's saved me a lot of time and driving to the copy shop. It basically pays for itself with that alone! br / br /I'd consider another one if this one ended up having problems. For the price, you can't beat it.
