 Good, versatile, takes little space. July 12, 2008

Liked my MFC-5440CN so much I bought this one next. Although I don't do a lot of scanning, a flat-bed is best. I like the automatic document feeder. I use the machine mostly for network printing, faxing (in out) multiple pages, copying. There could be a simpler way to address individual envelopes. This one requires taking out the paper stack adjusting the track, then re-inserting the paper stack when finished. Easy network installation; just follow simple instructions.

I must have gotten a great deal on this printer, because after I received it, Amazon's price was higher than what I paid Amazon for it. Either way, its a very good printer and much better than the 560cn I had before this one. It is quick to start printing and the color is very good. I needed this multi-function printer for the wired ethernet. I believe there are printers with WIFI built in, but not in this price range. I would definitely recommend this printer. br /
