Owned 2 of these over the years, one when they were released, just purchased a second to replace my old one (years of dumping coffee, paint, etc on the glas finally caught up to me) - they are durable and reliable scanners, also fast (well, maybe not as fast as some new ones, but fast enough for me, doing 600dpi 8x10 scans often) br / br /Would recommend if you can find a used/refurb. Otherwise buy the current version of this edition from Epson.
