Fare price October 22, 2008 Gustavo Sa B. Bastos (Brazil) I just received it and in a few minutes I got my first pic from an old film on negative. It's easy to operate and have a lot of controlers to adjust the image. It's realy worths the price.

After years of 35mm pgotography I have been wondering how to access my boxes and boxed of images. this scanner works beautifully, and easily. I use photoshop to touch them up and they look great.
Bean April 2, 2008 D Bean Very pleased. Had tried several methods to copy slides before without purchasing a $1000 plus scanner, but none worked. I just needed a copier to produce a decent digital copy in focus and acceptable detail. No flatbed scanner or camera lens attachment could do that. The Plustek 7200 was a great susprise. Low price and excellent results from the initial batch I tried. Had a slight problem with the software at first but you can work thru this fairly fast. Rapid learning curve on tweaking the scan to produce excellent results. I thought the results so far have been outstanding for the price.
Great results for so little money March 28, 2008 Pantucci (Westport, CT USA) After reading the negative reviews I was really worried about this product, but my fear was unfounded. I'm running Windows XP. I installed the driver without the two optional programs on the driver CD, then I installed the silverfast software, which runs both as a standalone application, and as a plugin to Photoshop CS3. It works well. The silverfast software is a little buggy, but results are what I care about, and the quality of the results is great. I also love the light source for previewing on the top, and the included case comes in very handy as well.
