I purchased this phone to replace an identical one that has served me for 20 years. I just finally wore it out. The new one has been in use for about a month now with no problems. It is our main land line phone so it gets a lot of abuse. It is a good, basic, no-frills phone that lasts. Sound quality excellent.

We were looking for a quality phone from a name brand br /company. We wanted a phone that had some weight, since br /we were concerned about it being knocked around on the br /table. This phone fits the bill. The sound br /is ok, but not always crystal-clear...however, there is a possibility br /that our lines are causing the problem. For what its worth....we bought br /one a few months ago and bought another for another room in the house.
