Amazon.com Product Description GE's 29893 is sensibly designed in a classical corded form. It has a 10-number memory to quickly call up your most frequently dialed numbers. The speakerphone frees your hands for more important tasks, and the one-touch redial button is extremely convenient when you've just remembered something important to tell a friend after hanging up. p The 99-name-and-number caller ID memory tracks your missed calls, displayed on the three-line LCD. The built-in digital answering can store up to 10-minutes of messages without the use of tapes or other moving parts that can wear out. Access your messages when you are away from home with any of 10 remote functions at your disposal from any touch-tone phone.p Separate volume controls for the handset, speakerphone, and ringer let you customize the proper audio levels, and the phone is wall mountable to help save space. GE offers a one-year limited warranty.

Very Decent phone, answering machine! November 23, 2007 Gary L. Foley (Grove City, OH United States) Again, my phone has been great. I only give it a four out of five stars for it having that silly "missed call" light (the light you see just right of the display)... when that light goes on you have to know the trick to making it go off, outside of that I love the phone, and the buttons are large and easy to use... also the hand set is of a very good quality, and the phone will sound great to those you speak with! br / br /I say go for it!!!
Had this phone almost 10 years! February 7, 2007 Island Halfbreed (The South) I've had this phone since I was in college and I am online looking for a new one only because after 10 yrs, the phone line is started to sound garbled. But when this phone was manufactured, backlights and some of the other bells and whistles were not a hot commodity. br /I am sorry others have had a poor experience; maybe those phones were re-furbished/re-manufactured but I have had NONE of the issues mentioned previously with voicemail or sound quality. I still have voicemails on my phone from May of 2005!! So the memory is not an issue. I've even moved since 05 and the phone still housed the messages (I save a job promotion voicemail as incentive and motivation - just a side note) ANYHOW, again - had the phone since 1997, no issues. Only replacing b/c now I get a low buzz sound in the phone but what should I expect after 10 yrs? br /This is an all in one phone; very convenient and RELIABLE!
speakerphone review August 26, 2006 Tom Marocchini I like the phone very much. The only thing is the voice is very weak and garbled that tells you if you have messages.
