Since it is digital, DECT 6.0 technology provides long range, clear sound and helps deter eavesdropping as well as offering up to 17 hours of talk time and 7.5 days standby time. Multiple voice paths are used to enable the entire series to provide up to 3-way conferencing, this allows for multiple handsets to be used at the same time and up to 2 handsets can join into a conversation with one outside caller. I have had the product only for 2 weeks, I love the sound quality. No issues so far, my 2 year old dropped the hand set once and inspite of that I have had no issues with the product.
I am giving 4 stars because I need more time to evaluate the product.

Had 900 meghtz phones then went to high meg htz they picked up all sorts of noise these panasonic phone are quite and pick up good in all areas they have good distance reception with quality features.

These phones are easy to install, problem free and well worth the price. Our previous phones cut out frequently, We're next to an Air Force base, but these phones are not affected by the radar/radio interference.

So far, I love this phone system. I'm sure I am not using all of the features it has, but it seems to do everything I need. My favorite feature is the intercom which allows you to call from room to room. We have a long spread out floor plan and this saves me from having to run around looking for my husband when I need him.

The Panasonic is about what was expected as it replaced another similar Panasonic. It does everything I expect of a phone system, except for the lack of a tone beep to signal a new message. Both my wife and I find it difficult to remember to check the message center on return from an outing. Surely it can't be all that difficult to program the system to either beep or not for those who want it or not.
