All three phones work great when it comes to making and receiving calls, but the display of the phone on the base unit has been unreadable since the moment we plugged it in.

These phones are a great value. I can walk around my house without loosing the signal,with no static at all. Same as to walk outside around the yard, has a nice range. br /These are refurb's but are like new. Comes with batteries, one didn't work, just look around for them they are cheap.

We purchased this telephone system as part of a woot-off [..]. Even though our phones were listed as refurb, too, we needed to replace our current, mismatched phones. After over a year and a half of service, these telephones have performed flawlessly. The speakerphone is most impressive of all features; our families cannot even tell when we switch them so our kids can hear the grandparents. Distance/range of these phones are = what you'd expect from a 5.8GHz phone. And should you mis-charge or have a battery fail on you, go to your local Wal-Mart for a replacement. Five stars. A great phone system.

Can't get cheaper than this. Nice features and good range too. At $8/each how can you not buy these for 5.8Ghz digital? Thanks for offering this Amazon!
