That can expand to 930 sheets with an optional 530-sheet 2nd tray - and more sheets means fewer user interventions. What's more, with an OKI C5150n you can print on banner-size sheets up to 8.5" x 47.24" in length. And, with its optional duplexer, you can produce 2-sided pages at close to rated engine speeds. With high-speed USB connectivity, your workgroup can share the advantages and efficiencies of this productivity-enhancing printer. An internal OkiLAN 10/100 Base-T print server enables industry-standard network protocols and enhances network management through access to printer menu settings.
Amazon.com Product Description Okidata offers an affordable digital color desktop printer that's network-ready and engineered for greater productivity. For professionals who keep a close eye on their image as well as the bottom line, the compact OKI C5150n is like two printers in one: It combines fast, high-quality OKI color and monochrome output with a low purchase price and low cost per page, so it can take the place of slower color inkjet and mono machines#151;and stretch your budget. How? LED technology provides laser sharpness at a low cost--the design is similar in concept to laser printing, but an LED digital printhead is used as the light source.p The OKI C5150n printer turns out up to 12 full-color and 20 mono pages per minute, with the first color page printing in just 14 seconds, the first black-and-white page in as little as 9 seconds. And those are crisp, bright pages at 1,200 x 600 dpi resolution (print speeds under ideal conditions). p The OKI C5150n has a standard paper capacity of 400 sheets (300-sheet paper tray and built-in 100-sheet multipurpose tray for labels, envelopes, transparencies, and card stock up to 110 lb.). What's more, with an OKI C5150n you can print on banner-size sheets up to 8.5 by 47.24 inches. OKI is so confident in the reliable performance of the C5150n that it provides an industry-leading five-year warranty on the four color printheads, and a one-year limited printer warranty with Overnight Exchange and optional coverage extensions. p BWhat's in the Box/Bbr C5150n printer, starter toner cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black), power cable, user guide and set-up guide, warranty information; printer cable not included

Printer like no other! HUGE WOW FACTOR! January 20, 2008 Alex Vox (Winnetka, IL) Much has been said already on this! I only testify that is produces awesomely vibrant prints with glossy surface that look like a top shelf magazine's cover! br /THis printer is very frugal, takes without any problems substitution inks and overall is my full duty print house that prints on virtually anything. If you need a personal printing house it is one! br /With all this said it is NOT your photo printer, it prints nice illustrations, graphics and so on but as any other color thermal or laser is not supposed to be photo printer. br / br /Very recommended!
NO Buyer's Remorse--Greatest printer EVER! July 20, 2006 Jeff (Desolate Desert Southwest) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was so fed up with inkjets...the cartridges that run out so quickly, clog, require that you wait for cleaning cycles, and are just plain slow in general, not to mention how expensive supplies are, and how the stupid prints practically smear when the humidity in the room goes up. br / br /I found the OKI C5150 with a rebate and an amazing shredder thrown in for free, got it all for less than [...]. br / br /The thing works flawlessly. It set up with no problems, even including the onboard TCP networking capability. And OKI supports Mac very well. (When OS X Tiger came out I had to wait a little while while OKI rewrote the TCP driver, but in the meanwhile it printed via USB just fine.) br / br /(I wanted to add that the TCP drivers came out and work just great.) br / br /My biggest worry was when I saw that a new set of toner carts would cost as much as the whole printer...well, I'm still using the STARTER carts--which have less than half the toner--more than six months later, and I just got a low toner warning! So, the carts may be expensive to buy...but they LAST FOREVER!! br / br /Also, it's NOT a laser printer--it uses LED "arrays", one for each color. So whereas a laser printer has a spinning mirror to charge the drum which has to make a pass for each color, the OKI has four LED bars--all inline allowing a straight paper-path--and images the print in a single path. Apart from being much more reliable--nothing moves but the paper and drum--since the LED bars are fixed it seems to me (not an expert, just smart...) that the alignment or "registration" between the colors will always stay accurate--a very good thing. br / br /It's fast, quiet, makes beautiful, sharp prints with a glossy sheen--even photos are nice, though maybe not as good as a top inkjet. br / br /Right now I'm puzzling over whether to risk paying less for non-OKI replacement carts. But overall, I have just one thing to say: BUY THIS PRINTER NO MATTER WHAT. It is just everything you want in a printer!
Oki - Freedom at last from inkjets! November 13, 2005 Gwynn B. Owens (ruther glen, va United States) 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
Having gotten disgusted with the newer inkjet products and the inkjet manufacturers who (1) have made it their mission to sell inkjets that now cannot be calibrated to save black ink and (2)can now only make a profit if they vastly overprice inkjet cartridges, I, a poverty stricken person who wished only to print without worry that the ink would run out or the printer heads would become clogged or a myriad other niggling doubts about the effacy of inkjets in general, decided to buy a COLOR LASER PRINTER. br / br /My friends deplored my decision citing high costs for toner, darkly implying ever more skyrocketing costs, and mostly "Gee, they're SO expensive!" br / br /Ladies and Gents, after carefully considering my options I purchased my OKI C5150n in April of 2005. The size of a small sea turtle (and with much of the same charm!) I solved the size issue with a wheeled platform the glides easily from beneath my desk. (This I only have to do when I change cartridges.) The set up was a breeze! It worked perfectly the first time and ever since! br / br /And it's FAST! After it warms up, whether color or B/W, the pages fly out. I believe the listed speeds (20ppm b/w, 12 ppm color)for copies are much much slower than what is reality. The way it is designed effciently allows for easy access to both media trays. The LCD lighted menu lovingly tells you what the Oki is thinking and also permits you to delve more deeply into its programming. br / br /Now in late June my laptop decided to have cardiac arrest. Undismayed I loaded the software onto my desktop which is Windows 98. The printer and the desktop refused to talk to one another so I called Oki. First of all you quickly get real live people with whom to speak. Secondly they love talking to people like me. Thirdly they live to solve your problems. br / br /The tech with an eager chuckle said no problem and sure enough within 3 minutes the printer and the desktop had kissed and made up. Then he winsomely asked "Is there anything else I can help you with? How's your toner going. Don't replace your toner until the printer days so. It will tell you to order toner but do not replace it until the printer says so!". He was almost sorrowful when I had no real problems for him. br / br /I admit that I will call for tech support whenever I feel it remotely necessary. But the support from Oki is outstanding. They remind me of the old Maytag repairman ad where the repairman sits in avid anticipation for a call. br / br /It sips ink and toner as if itself had to pay for them. In fact I only just replaced my starter Black Toner (starter cartridges are only about a quarter filled!)after an unbelievable 1820 pages printed. And I was able to purchase the 5000 page capacity cartridge on-line for 44.00!!!! WOW br / br /When the Oki advised me to order toner I again called tech support to discuss several options I had researched. They advised how to discover just how much toner I had left and how many pages I had printed (at that time 1600). br / br /I will admit that I generally use the draft and toner saving settings under "job options". From what I have observed there is very little difference in the appearance unless one is doing watermarks. br / br / br /It took 220 more pages to empty the Black toner. The replacement was easy, very nearly effortless. What really impressed me was Oki provides a pre-paid self-addressed UPS mailing label to return the used cartridge. br / br /I am well pleased no let's say ecstatic with my Oki. No longer do I begrudge myself the printing of a web page. No longer do I worry if the printer is going to function. I am blissful in the knowledge when I push the print button, my Oki will step up and PRINT! br / br /As for my friends, I will save the cost of my Oki most likely in 12-18 months just in not having to buy ink every 3-4 weeks at anywhere from 30-50 bucks a shot for black and god knows what for color. br / br /Want a printer and company that exists to simplify your life? br / br /Buy Oki. br / br / br / br / br / br / br / br / br / br / br / br /
