This makes the third one of these that I have purchased. I love them. Although all of my purchases have been gifts for someone else, when my old one finally bites the dust, I will purchase one for myself. The thing I like most about this shredder is that it is such a heavy-duty machine & it adjusts to fit over most any waste recepticle. The one that I have was more expensive, but it has it's own stand & the recepticle is so small that it fills up very quickly. Also, my shredder will not work at all if the original recepticle is not in place because the recepticle has little pieces on top of it that fit in slots on the stand. With the GBC shredder, if you are going to be shredding a large volume, you can place it on top of a large box & then dispose of the box & shredded paper all at the same time. . .no messy transferring of the contents! I also received my GBC shredder in just a couple of days. I was thrilled!
