| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The sleekly designed Toshiba TDP-S20U Mobile Projector includes one-touch auto set up, keystone correction, and a fully loaded remote control to ensure worry-free, professional presentations - just plug the unit in, and it is ready to go. The TDP-S20U projectors maximize an audience's attention by producing stunning presentations with minimal noise (approximately 33dBA in low mode). The whisper quite fan ensures attention is kept where it should be - on what's being projected.

Good projector March 8, 2007 Austin (Texas) I have had this projector for 3 years and it has done a good job. The first bulb lasted 1300 hours, and was under $260 to replace on Amazon. I would have no problem buying a Toshiba again. The only thing I could add is the way the prices have dropped I would buy the T45U or T100U instead of the S20U.
Great projector at a reasonable price. January 5, 2007 Jordan L. Massey (Dallas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The HD is incredible with this projector. you do have to buy an odd cable (RGB to component) but I found one online for less than $20 on ebay. I paid $850 for mine and my friend just got his from circuitcity for $700. I have over 1800 hours on the bulb and it has not dwindled one bit. Since I bought mine, two of my friends have got the exact same model cause this thing rocks. way better than plasma prices and much more portable.
Good buy overall. December 28, 2006 J. McClure (Chicago, IL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I agree with the previous poster. I have over 2300 hours on my first bulb. This has been a great buy. I don't want to sound fake or like I am advertising, but it really has been a fun toy. I tell my friends that it is one of the only big ticket items I have not had buyers remorse about.
Correction... February 23, 2006 Adam Vanderveer (Dallas, TX USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Don't pay attention to the review suggesting that the bulbs are a hassle. This IS a good product, and I think I know what happened with his. The first bulb probably had a problem, and that's why Toshiba replaced it at no cost. But if he installed the next bulb incorrectly, the lifespan is shortened exponentially, so be sure to do it right. And as for the price of the bulbs, they ARE expensive, but he's exaggerating just a bit. I just bought one on the Internet a week ago for $260 (tax free) and it's already here. As for me, I use my projector extensively, probably 5-7 hours a day. It lasted about a year and a half for me, which is more than I thought it would. All in all, this is much better than a big screen t.v., and cheaper...Good buy.
