I use the Polk R150 as surround speakers in my home theater. Great speaker for this purpose. Probably cannot do better at this price.

I recently upgraded my HDTV and audio equipment and moved my old 42" HDTV to the bedroom sitting area. My problem was the speakers in this TV were of poor quality so I decided to move my old audio amp along with the TV and hook up speakers. After doing much research I finally decided on the Polk Audio R150's and I could not be happier. They are the perfect size and provide a great sound quality. I also hooked up a CD/DVD player and the sound from movies is great as well as music CD's. All in all, I am very happy with my selection.

I am using these bookshelf speakers as my rear surround sound speakers and they sound absolutely amazing. I would recommend these speakers to everyone.

Using as rear surrounds in a 7.1 home theater. Sound good but will be replacing with Polk Monitor 40s. Good service.

I was reluctant to buy speakers on the internet. I relied on the reviews available and I am very glad I chose these speakers. I have an older harman/kardon home theater receiver, speakers, and sub woofer. Two speakers went out and I needed substitutes. I was worried that these speakers were inexpensive and wouldn't perform, but the reviews were right on. Give these speakers a sub woofer and you will be totally happy with your surround sound. 5 stars for the price I paid for these speakers. These speakers are just as good as those twice their cost.
