Great little speaker December 1, 2008

This is a great little speaker. Nice build quality, nice at the regular price. Fantastic at the sale price. The sound is open and neutral, it compares very favorably to Infinity and Boston Acoustics, even some of the more affordable Klipsch speakers. I got these by mistake, originally ordered the larger size. But I liked these so much, I kept them instead of returning them. Amazon, was quite gracious and refunded the difference to me. br / br /It is hard to go wrong with these speakers. They have a 30 day try out period, so you lose nothing. They are quite deep so make sure you measure the depth of the shelf you plan to put them on, also leave room for the rear port. The bass is not boomy, which I like. The highs are very clear and soft the fabric tweeter has a nicer sound to me than a metal one. The aluminum cone woofer also has a nice sound, just as neutral as a paper or plastic cone.
