Great product. Have a Hyundai Santa Fe, purchase the Pro 60,s in front, SL65 in the back plus a 8' subwoofer 200W. Powered them with boston amplifier GT-42 75W per chanel for the speakers and GT-22 for the SUB. Amazing sound. Clear voice, medium and excelent highs. Fantastic bass. Perfect.

Great detail. Can sound overly bright unless you deaden seal doors to accentuate the mids. Attenuation can be helpful depending on install. br / br /My wife is running 55W per channel to her Pro60s and they are significantly louder than my Z6s that are getting 314W per channel.

Pros: br / br /Quite detailed, clear music playback. br /Build quality is great, huge cast construction acts as heatsink for the woofer br /These speakers do not distort br / br /Cons: br / br /Price for performance($600 can get you alot more if you go with rainbow, cdt etc) br /mounting depth of the woofer may make door installation impossible for certain vehicles(such as mine) br /Tweeter is very bright, attenuation is nessecary br /Power handling sucks. While they do sound great, on numerous occasions i have smelled overheating voice coils coming from the woofer. Sounded great but apparently i was overpowering them. Using a 135wx2 orion amplifier br / br /Tweeter terminals use tiny proprietary connecters supplied with the set, but they are very small and most likely irreplacable if lost. Soldering wires directly to the tweeter is reccomended. br / br /Conclusion: I had an amazon gift certificate and these are about the best speakers you can find on amazon. For true sound quality, brands such as rainbow, cdt, image dynamics are top notch. Bostons are nice but overpriced, the tweeter is way too bright(aluminum dome), and power handling is not very robust. Overall they are a nice speaker not without flaws.
