I got this wireless mic to use with voice recognition software (Dragon Naturally Speaking) and it seems to work pretty well. It's important to set the volume high enough or Dragon doesn't do well recognizing, but other than that it works well. br / br /Windows XP recognized it without my using the install CD that came with it. The CD contains some software for Voice Over Internet Protocol, which I don't need.

HI I bought this headset only to use with Ventrilo and Teamspeak. It works so well that the people I chat with didn't believe it was wireless. To prove it was wireless I went outside with the headset on started up my car and beeped the horn- only then did they all believe it! br / br /It is expensive, but I tried using wired USB headsets and kept breaking them because of stretching the cord. I also tried using a BlueTooth headset - it worked but it was a pain to use. br / br /This headset just works - nothing special to do - truly plug and play. br / br /I am using it with XP not Vista.

I needed a wireless mic to record live computer training sessions. I record the computer screen and my voice. I can wear this all day and it works perfect. I can roam around the room assisting people and it never misses a beat. The sound quality is terrific and with the neckband, I don't even know it is there. br / br /**Caution: one of the other trainer wore it when he left the room, walked down the hall, and used the lavatory... he got the whole thing recorded... the range may be too good.

Its a great product. I was skeptical before buying the product about its functionality. Only reason i ordered this is due to reviews on [...]. I felt the price tag $[...] is high, when i can get a wired set for some thing cheap like $[...]. At the most max, i spent is $[...] on a headset before. My family enjoys using this headset. Installation was a breeze. Before ordering i was concerned if this works with latest skype. It worked great with Skype. I am using Skype version 3.0.0.209. I can answer calls directly from head set. I installed software from plantronics website, didn't use the software that was shipped with product. br / br /Overall it's a great product. I would buy it again. Its worth the price.

i bought this devices three time, one for me at home, office and the third 1 i gave it as gift to my co-CEO who like it at all. its a powerfull unit to used it for dectating, we test it with dragon naturally speaking version 9, and the result was wonderfull. i wish if platgronics can make a research for the arabic accents and prepare a good pakage of the microphone with thr dectating program, it will be very nice.\ br /
