headset November 21, 2008 S. messer I purchased this headset to go with my cell phone. it worked great while it last. it broke within three months.
works well September 26, 2008 Joe (California) This headset is inexpensive and works well on my Nokia 6102 phone. The speaker is clear and the microphone picks up well.
simple and effective, but also uncomfortable to wear September 19, 2008 Aldo (CA) I use mine with my Nokia 6850. It is a hands-free unit that is also an "enhancement" which allows me to receive FM radio. I use it all the time, but my one complaint is that the earpiece is huge and not ergonomic at all- its like trying to stuff a penny in your ear. If it fit better it would block more external noises too; I always have to turn the volume way up to hear anything. The answer button is nice, plus it will never call people accidentally when I sit on it because it activates a voice dialing feature rather than acting as another "send" key. I foresee the wire failing where it meets the base of the connector, but for the price it can't be beat. For all the shortcomings I listed I love the thing.
Thank you! September 9, 2008 Regina Henriquez (Far Rockaway, NY United States) Great Service, prompt delivery, product in excellent condition. Will shop with you again. Terrific customer service.

The only exceptional thing worth mentioning about this "hands free" device is the price- when I first got my phone, an old Nokia 6102b, I bought a headset nearly identical to this at Target for about $16.00. Seeing this one for the listed price was incredible and really makes me wonder about the way things work. Why not just give them away? br / br /That said, it works as well as the other one. Didn't come with three different foam earpads to immediatley lose, though. It seems to be OK for what I need, which is not being in violation of the new California 'hands free' law. I stil have not actually talked to anyone, but messages I left on my home machine were intelligible, if barely, and I could hear my outgoing message as well. As long as I had the windows rolled up. br / br /I still believe it is not holding the phone to one's head that is the distraction to driving, it is conversing. Which is why I rarely do it. Even a Bluetooth requires a little input to the phone, so it's still not totally hands free. But talking to someone not in the vehicle is truly the hazard still not resolved by the new law- to say nothing of the scant sign that people are respecting it. br / br /I have seen one result of it though- a great number of people now seem to think there is less shame to walk around in public with their little Borg headsets in place!
