Bought this to carry with me on my trips. It takes up less space in my backpack than the charger the Headset came with. Don't worry that the cable isn't long enough, this one could connect to an outlet on the moon.

Very convenient accessory to have if you are on the go. Provides the ability to charge your bluetooth headset from your laptop or any computer with a USB. Too bad the Plantronics headset is so poor.

I use this device with my Plantronics Voyager 510, and find it a very handy alternative to the wall charger. However, I agree with the other reviewer that the contact is not good. If you purchase this item, you must make certain that the red light on your earpiece is blinking; otherwise it is not charging.

I don't like carrying additonal adapters with me, but this USB adapter is small and light, and much better then the "wall wart" that came with the headset. Highly recommend, especially to keep the weight down when traveling.

I'm an IT professional , and I'm always next to a computer wherever I go. br /it;s a lot easier to carry this around then the supplied charger. br /However the contact is not as good at the headset. So you always have to double check if you plugged it in all the way. There is no click to tell you that you definitely plugged it in.
