good enough August 27, 2008 SailC34 (Philadelphia, PA) this is basically a good product but the button on the back of the case sometimes popped out of the belt look clasp. Still a good product and will buy another one once this wears out.
The ideal case for your tilt February 23, 2008 Garagedude (Ky) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
After purchasing the ATT Tilt I was on the hunt for a case for the Tilt. My previous phone was a treo so I knew about what kind of case I was looking for. The first of concern was securing My Tilt to my belt and not having to worry about it falling out or off. It also needed to be removable for easy access, but still have access to the phone features. The phone slides open for keypad use real easy even in the case once you unsnap the cover. Very cool on this one. The AT&T Tilt Designio Leather Sleeve (Jet Black)fits these needs. The case(or sleeve as they call it) fits the phone with a good snug fit. It was not overly tight but snug enough that even with the cover unsnapped the phone would not fall out. It might work its way out if left unsnapped all day, but this is a no brainer. The snap fits tightly so there's no worry about the phone coming out, plus with the snap on the side it won't catch on anything and come undone. The pin that comes with it is steel, well machined and tightened good in the case. Some cases come with a plastic pin so this steel pin was a good thing. The pin is also the correct size that it doesn't form a hump on the inside of the case like some I've seen do. The clip that comes with the case is well designed, with a flat pin that catches on the steel pin which is another good thing so that I don't have to worry about a pricey phone coming loose. The clip end catch is also well made, and catches on my belt well. I don't see how the phone could ever come loose. The inside of the case/sleeve is well paded and nicely made. The only thing I might change was where the pin fits on the case. Some like the phone to hang straight up and down, some like it to float with your body. This one pretty well floats evenly. If the pin was moved up some it might hang straight but I would want to try it with the pin in both places and see if it even made a difference. Even if it was better moved up it couldn't be moved up much or it would be in the way of the camera. I'm thinking of buying a second one just in the event that the case does wear out I'll have an extra one cause I'll have this phone for 4 or five years probably. If anything would wear out first it would probably be the belt clip. They get used alot and nothing last forever. Overall, this is a very nice, well made, very handy case for the Tilt with out having the phone totally covered. I rate it 5 out of 5
