For the price I have been very impressed with the overall sound quality of this speaker as part of my home theater. I didn't want to invest big bucks for my basement theater and this speaker have delivered great sound for the buck. I stayed with the compatable rear surround ceiling speakers, in-wall speakers and sub woofer.

In case you're like me... I didn't realize how big this speaker is. It's bigger than my dvr and dvd stacked together. Now as for the sound quality... I love the sound it puts out. I have some older Polk Audio Speakers and with the center channel addition, it sounds great. For the record, I'm an average music listener. I couldn't begin to tell you specs on what I'm hearing. I can just say... I like it.

The center channel has handled everything I've throw at it fairly well. Much better for TV/Movies than for music though. I would buy it again, but right after I bought it for $149, it was available elsewhere for $119. It's a steal at that price.

I purchased this center channel from best buy and it provides excellent sound. I bought a DVD of Tom Petty live in concert and when I cranked it up it felt like I was in the front row...absolutely incredible. The vocals come through crystal clear proving an excellent experience. I have this center connected to an Onkyo 607 with TSI 400's as my front speakers. Sound quality is excellent from Polk.
