I got my RCA 8335 as a warranty replacement and not at Amazon.I must say my unit has performed well enough.I've recorded hundreds of programs with good results.Yes,the unit has frozen on me a few times but I just go through the ritual of -unplug and plug again and it goes back on track.I am sorry all these other people got bum units.
