I have two and they both work fine. Is dubbing hard? NO--you push play on the vcr and hit record on the dvd. You always have to finalize a dvd before it will play on another dvd player--that's nothing new. It's not HD, so it will record your HD, but the playback isn't. br / br /I DO have a problem with the high price of shipping. $33.35?? really?? It shouldn't cost any more than $10 for shipping and handling. Shame on them
