Product Description THE SEASONS ARE CHANGING AND TINKER BELL, WITH HER FOUR FAIRY FRIENDS HARD AT WORK TURNING SUMMER INTO FALL. WHILE EVERYONE IS PREPARING FOR THE FALL CELEBRATION, TAKE OFF IN A HOT AIR BALLOON WITH TINKER BELL AND HER FRIENDS TERRANCE AND BLAZE ON AN AMAZING SECRET JOURNEY BEYOND PIXIE HOLLOW.
Amazon.com Tinkerbell is back for a whole new season of adventure in emTinkerbell and the Lost Treasure/em. Pixie Hollow is all abuzz with preparations for autumn and Tinkerbell is hard at work on her latest invention when she is unexpectedly summoned by Queen Clarion and the Minister of autumn. Tinkerbell fears that she's in trouble again, but is instead delighted to find out that Fairy Mary has recommended her for the important job of creating a one-of-a-kind scepter that will focus the light of an unusual blue harvest moon through a rare moonstone in order to replenish the pixie dust tree's supply of pixie dust. Tinkerbell gladly rises to the challenge, accepting her dust-keeper friend Terrence's offers of help, but as the days fly rapidly by, pressure begins to build and Tinkerbell becomes annoyed by Terrence's constant attention. Sending Terrence away on an errand seems like a good idea, but what he brings back inadvertently causes the almost finished scepter and the incredibly rare moonstone to break into pieces. Tinkerbell lashes out at Terrence and then departs alone on a desperate quest to fix the moonstone. What Tinkerbell learns on her journey is that she must take responsibility for her own actions and that the power and value of true friendship is much greater than she'd ever imagined. Like the first emTinkerbell/em, the colors and clarity of animation are simply breathtaking in this production, but the story lags somewhat thanks to a lengthy set up and a general lack of suspense in the first half of the film. Still, it's a perfectly entertaining movie that will delight children ages 3 and up as well as satisfy most parents. Returning voice talent includes Mae Whitman, Kristin Chenoweth, Jane Horrocks, Anjelica Huston, Jesse McCartney, and Raven-Symone. em--Tami Horiuchibr /br //emspan class="h1"strongStills from emTinker Bell and the Lost Treasure/em/strong/span table border="0" cellpadding="4" cellspacing="4" width="100%" tbody tr align="center" valign="top" tdimg height="200" src="http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/dvd/disney/tinkerbell/tinkmoonstone.gif" width="300" / br //td tdimg height="200" src="http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/dvd/disney/tinkerbell/tinkmirror.gif" width="300" / br //td tdimg src="http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/dvd/disney/tinkerbell/terencetink.gif" //td /tr tr align="center" valign="top" td/td tdimg src="http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/dvd/disney/tinkerbell/blaze.gif" //td td/td br / /tr tr align="center" valign="top" tdimg height="200" src=" http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/dvd/disney/tinkerbell/terenceboat.gif" width="300" //td tdimg height="200" src="http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/dvd/disney/tinkerbell/Fairies.gif" width="300" //td tdimg height="200" src="http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/dvd/disney/tinkerbell/tinkstring.gif" width="300" //td /tr /tbody /table

A pleasant surprise. November 13, 2009 CeeCee (Islander) My daughter and I are big fans of Tinker Bell, the first movie that came out. We enjoyed the story, the animation, and found it very funny. Even now my daughter still laughs despite having watched it so many times. I read the reviews for the Lost Treasure and decided to take a chance on it. Like many 5-star reviewers, we enjoyed the story of Tinker Bell's lesson that friendship is the "lost" treasure and the bigger role of Terrance in the movie. It was very funny, maybe a little more than the first Tinker Bell (for us), and it had the same great animation. With the exception of America Ferrera, the Lost Treasure also had the same great voices. If you and the kids enjoyed the first one, I can't see any reason why you wouldn't like the Lost Treasure. Just keep in mind that her friends Silvermist, Rosetta, Fawn, and Iridessa have small parts this time around. The ending was pretty spectacular by the way!
MAGNIFICA SEGUNDA PARTE!!! November 9, 2009 C. Bellegarrigue (El Salvador) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
