Studio description
The yellow-eyed demon is vanquished, but at a terrible price. The battle that brought him down released hundreds of demons from Hell into an unsuspecting world. And it cost Sam his life. But a grief-stricken Dean made a deal with the Crossroad Demon - his soul for Sam's resurrection. Now Dean has just one year to live. One year to fight the unholy, the twisted, the ghoulish. One year to say farewell to Sam. And one year for Sam to search desperately for some way to save his brother. Mind-bending adventure awaits as the Winchester brothers continue their astonishing odyssey into the supernatural...and their personal odyssey into destiny.

5 out of 5 stars Hot guys, blood and demons... What more could you want???   October 16, 2008

I had to watch this season on DVD, but I'm just glad I didn't have to see a hint of a stupid commercial!!! But this season was amazing, though the writer's strike cut it to 16 episodes. The real picture of the demons, hell itself and the uncertain future of the two boys really comes to life than in the past two seasons.
Also, you can't help but fall in LOVE with Jensen Ackles and the sexy Jared Padalecki! Both are very talented actors who use their physical and mental emotions come to life, especially to the highest level in the last three episodes. I can't give anything away for those who haven't seen this yet, but this is an amazing gateway for what's to come!
Season 1 really had the jumpy scares and elaborate creatures, Season 2 had the real psychological questions and keeps you guessing, and Season 3 really lets the demon come out and have their fun. Relationships are tested to the most tense level, and the finale is really emotional! What they've shown of Season 4 on TV just tells you the next couple seaons are going to be BIG!!! This is the best show on the CW (no offense but others suck...), and goes beyond the boundaries of paranormal television shows. Just like the title says: HOT guys, blood and demons... What more can you want???

4 out of 5 stars Fantastic show, but $40 for 16 episodes? Forget it.   October 10, 2008

I adore Supernatural; from the characters and their own personal problems to the downright spooky situations, it's everything a casual horror/drama fan like me could want.

The problem is the pricing. I got Seasons 1 and 2 for a steal, and now I'm looking for Season 3, which is my favorite season. But $40 for 16 episodes? No thanks; I'll just wait till it hits the bargain bin, and I'd suggest you do the same. It's a great show, but come on, it isn't THAT great.

5 out of 5 stars Supernatural...should we continue?   October 8, 2008

after having watched this whole season, i have really lost interest in my original reason to watch the program to begin with...all we do is chase that demon! originally, this series dealt with all kinds of supernatural phenomenon and now only focuses on Dean ultimate demise (and resurection) and the demons that were unleashed. i am very disappointed and wish they would go back to expunging other supernatural entities and not stay chasing demons!!! oh, jerad and jensen are still HOT along with that car Dean drives!

5 out of 5 stars Supernatural just gets better and better   October 8, 2008

As a huge supernatural fan I was super excited to see that the 3rd season was on DVD. This season was my favorite and the DVD met all my expectations. It has commentary from the cast, and lots of info about the show. I can't wait until I have next season in my hands!

Supernatural Season 3 on DVD was great. There were lots of extras, along with the actual episodes. Great for anyone who is a fan.
