This product is so simple to use. Once you install the software in your computer, just plug in the camera and insert the slide or negative film using the holder of the film slide it in. Choose the picture you want, save it to your computer and then you can print it. So simple.

I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews but figured, "What the heck. It's only $50." And that was the correct attitude.

br /I had no problems with the installation. The manual went to GREAT lengths to make sure you enter the correct computer configuration: 32 or 64 bit. Loading was straight forward, and, if you read the instructions, the operations screen is adequate (it is not "obvious" what to do if you don't read the instructions).

br /I've only used 35mm slides and the quality has ranged from great to awful. It seems most could use a tweak or 2 with a photo finish software, but some just don't reproduce no matter what I try. As you might expect, the slides I want the most are the those that don't scan worth a darn.

br /So, yes, I'd buy it again. Those slides that don't scan well? If I really, really want them, I'll send them out at $0.30 each and have them professionally done. In the meantime, I shall be satisfied to digitize those slides that I can. And, at $0.30 each, the little scanner has already paid for itself.
