It comes with a built-in 181-channel NTSC tuner that can accommodate up to 125 cable channels. And it can display crisp high definition video when hooked up to an optional cable/satellite set-top box or HD receiver using the component HD video input. The 20MF251W delivers a true 1366 x 768-pixel HDTV resolution (capable of displaying 1080i and 720p high-definition signals), and it also features a 8 ms (millisecond) response time for viewing fast-moving content with minimal bluring, 160-degree horizontal viewing angle, 450 cd/m2 (candela per square meter) brightness rating, and 500:1 contrast ratio. Component video (also called Y/Pb/Pr) features a three-jack video input, which provides separate connections for luminance (Y), blue color difference (PB) and red color difference (PR). This results in increased bandwidth for color information, resulting in a more accurate picture with clearer color reproduction and less bleeding than you would get with S-Video or composite (RCA yellow video plug) connections. I bought this set because of a review by a "professional" on the net at an electronics review source. I now have had the set 6months. It has performed in every way that is promised. I have a small office/guest space & so it is wall-mounted, which was easy to do. The only problem I had was matching the mfg. code to the required one from the sattelite box so I need 2 remotes. One for on/offand volume and the sattelite remote for the rest. Well worth the small price.
