With a contemporary design on the outside and the old school heart of Klipsch beating on the inside, this high-performance setup is a perfect match for today's hot-selling plasma and LCD televisions. Consisting of three RVX-42 loudspeakers to serve as mains and a center channel, two RSX-4 satellites to serve as surrounds and an RW-10 subwoofer, this system delivers an astonishing adrenaline rush of sound. p The wall-mountable RVX-42 employs dual 4-inch aluminum woofers and uses a 1-inch titanium-dome compression driver mated to a round Tractrix horn for maximum clarity and efficiency. It also features keyhole mounts (sized for a single-gang electrical box), two 3/8"-16 threaded inserts for optional wall mounts and a pedestal base. Another key feature is a bass compensation switch for the best possible sonic performance either on-wall or off-wall. p The RW-10 powered subwoofer delivers strong, clean bass from a remarkably compact enclosure. It's powered by a high-efficiency BASH digital hybrid amplifier, capable of 575 watts dynamic power output and enabling it to deliver rich, pulse-pounding bass to below 25 Hz. The low-pass crossover has a steep 24 dB/octave slope and is outfitted with continuously variable frequency and phase controls, facilitating smooth integration with the main speakers. p The RSX-4 satellite boasts outstanding efficiency by utilizing a 1-inch titanium-dome compression driver coupled to Klipsch's new round MicroTractrix horn. This magnetically shielded speaker also employs an advanced 4-inch woofer to achieve remarkable sonic detail. Its gracefully contoured, high-rigidity enclosure is small enough to fit wherever you need it to go. An integrated ball-joint pedestal stand with bottom keyholes makes it easy to place the RSX-4 on any convenient surface (walls included) and direct its sound into the listening area.
