Amazon.com Review Forget about relying on overworked hotel staff--this sleek little travel clock provides the most reliable wake-up call around. Cutting-edge technology automatically synchronizes with radio waves from the U.S. atomic clock, providing the date and local time with split-second accuracy. Four user-selectable U.S. time zones (Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific) complement time information for 130 cities around the world, making this the perfect globetrotting companion. A chime function signals each hour (if desired), while a crescendo alarm with eight-minute snooze gets travelers where they're going on time. An electro-luminescent backlight makes the read-out easy to see, even in the dead of night. This travel clock runs off two AAA batteries and includes a convenient case. --Mary Park

Atomic clock which does not listen to the atomic signal October 30, 2007 Bernard (California, USA) As reported elsewhere, this clock makes its own decision as far as when day light saving should start and end. Despite the fact that this information is available in the radio broadcast, the clock thinks it knows better and adjust itself based on the old dates. Very annoying. You have to turn off the radio signal by holding the DOWN button for a few seconds. It defeats the purpose.
Alarm Clock Volume October 28, 2007 Curt "The Man" 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The only problem I have with this clock is that the alarm is too loud. It will WAKE UP the dead. I tried covering up any places where the sound was coming from and it helped muffle the sound a bit, but is is still very loud. Otherwise, a very good product.
