This is an overexaggerated alarm clock. It works extemely well as an alarm clock. You get what you pay for.

This great little clock radio sets itself to the right time when you plug it in. The digital readout makes it easy to tune to your station. It has very good reception and doesn't need an antenna. It is really small and light. It takes up very little space and you can tuck it in a corner of your suitcase when you travel.

The batteries actually keep the time when its unpluged! You don't loose the alarm or clock settings when the power goes out. Easy to set & tune to a station with the digital no. The best clock radio I've had.

Like the large but unobtrusive letters, radio is the usual alarm clock quality but I use the low intensity (right for me) beep alarm. Ordered one more for my kid's room. Can't be beat for basic alarm with large letters.
