Ok here's the deal! I'm 41 not real tech savey BUT this is the easiest thing in the world to use. Even without reading the directions, I'm not a direction reader, it was easy to put songs on this device. Now here's the real test.....I had it 2 days and while enjoying a wonderful bubble bath, I accidentally pulled the player, which was on the edge of the tub, (I know, I know) and it fell in the water. It took me approx 3 seconds to realize what happened and I jerked it out of the water, yanked the battery out and proceeded to pour the water out of the little thing. I set it to the side on a towel thinking that was the end of that. I got up the next morning and thinking why not, I put the battery back in and it came on and is working fine. SHOCKED (no pun) and PLEASED

This is the second one I've purchased. My first one, of this model,finally broke after five years. I LOVE having my USB drive and my music in the same place. I have it on a lanyard and just grab and go when I'm headed to the computer lab. It's small and not super expensive so it's not as likely to be stolen. To add music, just plug it in and transfer the files just like you would a word document. The only downside is that the interface takes some getting used to because it's only a one line screen. It's well worth learning though, for the other features.

I got a version below this at another store, but since he's had it it has been great for car rides especially. I've also downloaded his night time music and he was able to take it anywhere we went. It very easy to use and download...if you know how to use a flash/thumb drive then you'll have no problems...bonus I downloaded stories on CD from my local library and loaded them on too. Only bad comment is that my son (4) got very frustrated with the ear buds provided with the system. I went and bought him the kind that goes over his head.
