Another problem solved by searching Amazon October 30, 2009 lisatsunami (Los Angeles) I got this to add functionality to my Dish satellite receiver. The receiver has only 2 outputs--a composite output and a coaxial output. The coaxial one output non-stereo sound quality so I hated using it to hook up to my new Aquos huge flat screen tv. I needed the composite to output to my DVD recorder (Toshiba; upconverts the picture to near HD pretty well). And I am far too lazy to swap the cable out between TV and DVD recorder all the time. Oh, and I'm also unwilling to turn on my DVD recorder every time I watch TV just so I can have stereo sound. So apparently it is true I can solve all my consumer problems via Amazon as I found this product which splits my one composite output to my 2 devices (it can output to 4 different devices but I'm not up to that yet).
Great Product September 27, 2009 TriLink12 (OHIO) I bought this amplifier so I could record video from my Xbox onto my laptop, while actually playing the game on my standard TV. And it does exactly what you would expect it to. The signal quality really is 1:1, as far as I can tell anyway. If there is any degradation in the video, it's minor. The audio is excellent too. I've only tested it using two of the outputs simultaneously, but I've seen nothing to make me believe the quality of using all four would be any different. If your looking for a good composite video amplifier, then look no further.
Works Perfectly! Clean distribution and no loss April 26, 2009 Vince Fredrick (The Woodlands, TX USA) We have TV's in multiple rooms and when on U-Verse channels, you can get different lags even when on the same channel. It was quite annoying when the gap was over a second. I switched to this and with a couple of 50 foot AV cables, I now have synced signals in 3 rooms PLUS I used the 4th to go to my Slingbox!

br /Now if they could just make multi-room remotes this easy... I use an old RCA system that isn't available any more....
Not as good as I thought December 5, 2008 Giovanni M. Costa 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The product quality is pretty good and stable, looks very durable, however the quality of the video distribution is not as good as I was expecting for the price I would hope for something better, if you don't care too much about image quality this is a good product I however take pride on quality.
Solid November 26, 2008 Scott A. Greathouse (Columbia, MO USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was using multiple Y adapters to split the audio signal from my computer (which is the only thing we listen to in my house) and it was causing a severe drop in the audio signal quality/volume and well as anomalies when the cheap powered computer speakers at some termination points fed back gain into the system. This very well-built piece of hardware (all steel enclosure) solved that problem. Everything sounds great now, and there's no need to crank up any amplifiers to get some sound out. Plus, the price was very good compared to other units.
