I own a mobile DJ business and I know my way around pro audio pretty well. My church was in need of an amp for 2 12" loudspeakers. I decided to purchase the amp on my own and didn't have $300-$400 to spend. This amp is priced very nicely for my budget. Once I hooked it up, it worked EXCELLENT for the church. It is a small church, but powers the 2 12" loudspeakers perfectly. The only bad part was the indicator lights don't seem to work, that's not really a big deal. If you are on a budget this AMP is perfect if you are limited on a budget, and need performance! Don't expect it to perform like a Crest, Crown or QSC. But by no means is it junk.

This power amp was bought to replace a Carver Cube that blew out after about 25 years of use. The price of the unit was my primary reason for this purchase.

br /My major complaint is that the dual cooling fans are too loud. At lower listening volumes, you can definitely still hear them running. I am going to have to figure out where I can mount this unit in an enclosed area that will mask the noise while still providing enough circulation for cooling, however since I don't plan on running this unit at high power very often, I don't believe that this will be a problem.

br /A minor niggle is that the unit also has no RCA-in jacks, I needed to run to Radio Shack and pick up a pair of RCA to mail 1/4 inch plugs to hook this up to my preamp. On the positive side, the unit seems to be well built, and it sounds great. From the owner's manual, which for some reason, is not available on Pyle's website, the unit puts out 250W X 2 at 0.1% distortion into 8 ohms on 2 channel stereo operation.

br /I guess that when Pyle calls this a "professional power amp" they really mean it.

This amp is perfect for my stage monitor setup. Hookup is easy and silent, with the amp on or off. It has plenty of power for vocals, keyboard, or guitar, and is very clean and it pushes multiple stage monitors at 4 ohm's with no problems.

i like this amp, working fine...but it DOES NOT HAVE DOUBLE FANS like it says on the description...it only comes with ONE FAN...because it working great i kept it.....
