I bought this toilet seat to replace a wooden /painted white one that was in the house we purchased. I have always hated the wooden painted seats because they tend to stain and the paint will scratch off or peel off after some time. This seat is a thicker quality than those flimsy cheap seats you can get and I like the "quiet close" feature, works very well. I would never buy a wooden toilet seat - buy this one instead!

I saw this at a friends' house and knew I had to have it, I needed to replace a toilet seat. This Kohler seat is easy to install and once you slightly push on the lid or seat, it will continue to close, quietly. It looks great and is easy to clean. What more could you want from a toilet seat?

How do you get excited about a toilet seat? Not an object that normally ignites the imagination. This is a well engineered object, constructed with diligence and commitment to quality, and delivered quickly, providing complete satisfaction. A mundane yet satisfying purchase. Perfect.
