Nylon 6/6 Super Tough is impact modified and has the advantage of very high impact strength at low temperatures and enhanced resistance to heat distortion over general purpose nylon 6/6. Nylon resins are typically used in applications requiring heat and chemical resistance, as well as, toughness. Some examples include under-the-hood automotive components, electrical connectors for the telecommunications and computer industries and components of medical devices. Superior impact properties and very low notch sensitivity compared with other engineering thermoplastics. Good chemical resistance. Good surface finish.
