Subwoofer June 27, 2007 Beverly W (Arkansas) Great sound, I have had it for 1 year and love the bass produced by this speaker. I would purchase another one if I needed an additional unit.
Nice sub November 3, 2006 Johnny Elizondo Ortiz (Albuquerque, NM) The E250 is the right sub if you are looking for a very good balance in price/performance. It will not wake up all the neighborhood but outputs power enough to have a satisfactory experience in home theater applications. I like that it automatically switches to stanby mode if no signal is detected after some minutes.
Great Sub, Great Price March 23, 2006 C. Petrak (Phoenix, AZ USA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I have this sub paired with JBL E30 satelites, JBL E C35 center, JBL E N24WII for surrounds and a Yamaha RX-V767 AV receiver/amp. This sub is the star of my new HT/stereo setup. I use this system in my main family/great room for music 60% of the time and surround system for movies 40%, and this sub does great for both. This speaker has great lows (real low) for movies etc, it will engualf the room with bass, and it has great, tight bass - punch for music. I listen to everything from Sade & Rick Braun to Korn & Tool and this speaker does great at whatever it is asked to do. I think the front firing configuration on this sub is more accurate and predictable than the typical down firing subs. Bottom line - if you have the space for this (it is big, the only possible negative about it) buy this subwoofer you will not be dissapointed!
For $99.99 I couldn't NOT buy it! March 12, 2006 Patrick Mckibbon (Kenai, AK United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Even though I already have a wonderful PB12 of 3+ years, I saw this at Best Buy for a hundred bucks as it has a broken grill. No problem there, 30 minute fix. My previous setup (N38II's, N26II's, S-CenterII and the PB12) was perfect. I couldn't do hardly any better without spending big bucks. I put my PB12 behind my seat, and set this up front where the PB12 was. To me, they sound the same (as I had the PB12 sitting on its side to be front firing), which was wonderful. Response is great into the 20Hz range, and it is crisp and clean. I have the crossover set at 100Hz, works great. If you see a good deal on one, don't hesitate to pick it up, you won't be dissapointed.
