5 out of 5 stars naruto rocks out loud !!!!!!!   December 4, 2006

this story begins when naruto unleashes the power of the nine tail fox. A battle follows naruto vs haku the battle isn't real long, at the end naruto grabs haku and punches him through the demonic ice mirrors. Meanwhile kakashi senses the chakra of the demon and does a summoning jutsu and his nin dogs come and trap zabuza, now kakashi prepares to kill zabusa with lightning blade(lightning edge). Meanwhile haku tells naruto to kill him because he has lost and failed zabuza. So naruto goes to kill him with his kunai but haku senses that zabuza is in danger so he blocks narutos attack and teleports in front of zabuza. Kakashis' hand goes right through hakus' heart and out the other side then zabuza prepares to slice through both kakashi and the dead haku but kakashi moves him and haku out of the way , and then he runs up to zabuza and stabs him in both of his arms. Then gato shows up and plans to kill them and naruto get's mad and tells him how much haku loved him. zabuza gets sad that hakus dead and asked to use narutos kunai knife and holds it between his teeth, and runs through all the soilders and kills them and gets stabbed in his back about twenty times literally with swords in his back( amazing he could even move) and he runs up to gato and slices off his head then he dies next to haku. the rest is about the chunin exams' beging up to when lee asks sasuke to fight him. I would reccomend it for teens do to lots of blood and gore, mild bullying, and violence. Naruto is one of the best manga ever.

The climax in the battle with Haku and Zabuza, this might be the bloodiest book in the series so far...I guess. But it's so sad because such a cool character dies!! I don't wanna tell who though, because I don't wanna spoil it for anyone.

5 out of 5 stars The story of the Demon Zabuza and Haku   December 17, 2004

"Naruto vol. 4" continues the fierce battle begun in vol. 3, against the ninja-hunting Demon Zabuza and his deadly assistant Haku. The stage is set with Sasuke slain, Kakashi literally mystified and Sakura learning her own limitations. As everyone knows, when things look darkest for a band of heroes...it is time for a little payback.

Payback is what you get in vol. 4, but not exactly in the way expected. Naruto, full of rage over his friends death, unleashes the power of the Nine-tailed Fox demon. Kakashi shows that he is more than the Sharingan Eye, using an innovative attack to overcome the loss of vision. Sasuke lies on the ground dead, and there is lots of weeping.

The real story, however, is the love and loyalty between Zabuza and Haku. Compared to this, the trials of the four heroes are trivial. Haku sees himself as a weapon to be wielded by Zabuza, and the true test of his loyalty comes when Zabuza's feelings are made clear. Its some powerful, emotional stuff.

Along with the conclusion of this story arc, vol. 4 also sets up the next adventure for the Naruto gang. This time, they head home to face the challenge of the examinations for chunin, the next level of Ninja. Several groups of older kids come into town to face the examinations, and run foul with Naruto and friends. Cue the music and start the fights!
