I bought this receiver about 4 1/2 years ago when I first got XM. It is a straight foreward little receiver. Very easy to use but the best part about it is how rugged the little thing is.. I originally bought it in Pennsylvania and used it in my Wrangler during the cold winter months. It got snow on it many times and was subjected to temperatures down to about 5 degrees. I brought it with me when I lived in Albuquerque NM where it was subjected to sand and dust almost nonstop. I used it when I lived in Fort Walton Beach Florida when the unit got rained on every day at about noon. I can't count the amount of times I saw water in the screen and it still worked. I had trouble getting the water out once and accidently melted part of the faceplate trying ot remove it.. The screen turned black and I thought it was done for.. I fixed the melted plastic put in a new faceplate insert and in less then a few hours it was working just fine and it looked like new. Now I live in Vegas and it has endured the extreme heat out here as well.. Sometimes up to 120 degrees.. br / br /This little thing is worth more than what you think. It's not fancy, but Delphi did something right making it.. If you are always on the move and always outdoors getting dirty this thing is perfect.. My unit is over four years old, has been through more torture than any electronic device i've ever used in my life but still works like new.. If I "could" break the darn thing I would buy another.
