It's an antenna. It replaced one that became erratic in reception. br /It works perfectly on my older XM Portable Radio and arrived pronto.

I ordered this for my 2nd vehicle adapater so that I didn't have to move everything from one car to the other. I have a Sirius sportster and it works perfectly with it in it's vehicle adapter. Well worth the price compared to the 3x more expensive antenna from the sirius site.

Nice replacement for my Roady XT! 20' cord so i can put the antenna in the rear of the vehicle. Nice Antenna ! Plus a one year warranty! Amazon 9 outta 10 is cheaper for most items!!! Thanks Amazon!

This will also work with many Sirius radios also. br /I am using a Starmate Replay radio. If it fits in the jack, it should work.
