Hehehe, when John said,
"Press the "Record" button on the SPL Meter and then audio comes out"..,
he meant the SPL meter in REW which has a big red button that has a tool tip that says "start/stop measuring at input". This turns on the REW SPL meter to read the input at the soundcard and then shows the associated level with its VU meters....... It has to be manually pushed (as I understand) with your type of situation.....
