I don't think there are any other applications using the soundcard, not that I know of.
I also tried reloading the sound card software, but that didn't work.
I tried running msconfig in order to load only what is necessary to boot up windows98SE, but had the same results. I'm wondering if there is an older version of REW that doesn't cause the error on my computer.
