I should have been clearer, the space I am trying to energize is ~3,500 cubic feet, not square feet. It is less than 400 square feet. I'm not Bill Gates for crying out loud... Jeez, if I had a 3,500 square foot living room, I would hope I could afford more than $500 for a sub...
To be more precise the, room is 15-1/2' x 26' with 9' ceilings. There is a 3'x6' floor to ceiling fire place intruding into the room. and a bay window extending out (increasing the cubic feet).
Maybe I should try for the SoundSplinter giveaway, I could spend the whole $500 on an amp!
