Whilst I have had the new version of REW for a while now, and mucked around a little with it, it was only really today that I got stuck in 'in anger' as it where, and went ahead and re-eq'd my system.
Anyway, for a number of different reasons, I have found that I much prefer to use the previous version! I think I could very well be in a minority here, as every other feedback I've seen is overwhelmingly positive, so I hope I don't give offense!
Of course, it may simply mean that I need to put more time in, but TBH I don't think I'll change my mind.
So, that leads me to the crux of the matter, is it at all possible for me to get a copy of the previous version??? I couldn't see it on the downloads section. Also, if I can somehow get that copy, is there a way that it could co-exist on the computer with the newer version?? ( as soon as I downloaded the new one, it unfortunately overwrote the old
)
If the two can't co-exist, then personally I'd take the previous version. It would be best if both could be accessed, as I can see that the new one does some things the older didn't, mainly in the FR I suspect.
