Re: Can I still run the 2nd to last REW??

Hi Wayne

The waiting for the girls bit was simply in regard to the storing of the old program in such a place that I can have both, that's all. You are totally correct, the actual working of the program is picked up by the good folks at this forum.

Re the calling up of old measurements from the left pane, couldn't we also do that in the previous version?? excepting that the old version had the tabs along the bottom.

At least with the old version, I could choose to overwrite (say) tab4, and put a new measurement in. I've yet to find how to overwrite a measurement of my choosing. What I mean is, say I've only done three measurements to date, clicking on measurement button will bring up tab 4 and load the new measurement in there. The old on I could choose where to put it.

Say I've done as much measurements as the program can handle, then each new measurement will start deleting from the top, I preferred being able to choose which measurement to overwrite.

Having said all that, I haven't yet read all the help files on the new one yet, for all I know there may be a way to overwrite the measurement and not bring up a new one.

Also, at least with the old program all the choices were made under the graph, ie once we had a full scale depiction of the graph then it stayed that way. To go back to 'full size' on the new we need to 'get rid of' the left hand area, then bring it back when we want to change smoothing for example. Seems to me to be a bit of double handling as it were.

Anyway, having both means I can pick and choose, and who knows, using the old one again may re-acquaint me with it's idiosyncratic nature and convince me the new one is indeed better!!!!

It is interesting that the new program is overwhelmingly endorsed by all, I must just be a rebel!! ( or stupid, which is much more likely ha ha)

Will let you know.
